Education & Cultural Outreach
Flute music and ancient stories have given me a compassionate way to reveal to my audiences
the unifying themes that connect us all to each other and to the past.
Listening to tribal elders tell stories, discovering a world of ancient and modern flutes and then retelling the stories
and laying the flutes for audiences in concerts and classrooms has been my life for the past thirty years.
Whether here or abroad, I have found that people of all ages instinctively know the universal
and cultural connections between narrative and music: the timeless search for meaning and the desire for understanding.
I have always believed that my music is earth music and that my stories speak of humankind. This is what I have to offer.
