Ongtupqa

Recorded inside the Desert View Watchtower and on the South Rim of Grand Canyon, this Hopi cultural project celebrates the most ancient sounds to emerge from Ongtupqa - the Hopi name for Grand Canyon. The 53-minute CD and digital download card features Hopi songs accompanied by Hopi long flute and clay pot percussion. The 48-minute DVD includes history and information about Hopi cultural connections to the canyon, full-length songs from the Watchtower recording, and breathtaking images of this natural wonder of the world.
